We traveled Cambodia via van many times. I witnessed what Poipet was all about. And since it is the Cambodian and Thailand border, you can find Casino establishment there plus handicap people who tries to earn a living. It’s a sad place.

Here’s a glimpse of the border.

SANY0284 by you.

It’s not a pretty sight. It’s a mess, yet my heart goes to those young children walking down the street asking for alms. And those disabled people carrying heavy loads just get by the day.

Thanks for the visit!~ More participants in SWF HERE and WW, HERE.

The plight of the people is quite sad, but the picture you got of the sky and the foreground is lovely!

Lovely photo not just as a skywatch entry, but as photojournalism.

What a really neat gate to show in the sky. It is a shame about the poor.

Isn’t it just the way, an imposing government structure and the people are dirt poor and left to get by however they can.

So much sadness in the shadow of such great beauty. I suppose it’s the same everywhere… we just ignore it.

Now I see that you do this also. It is a very pretty shot. And yes the poor children is a terrible thing.

My SWF#1 is here. I hope you can visit.

Interesting. It is heartbreaking that these people don’t even have the basics.
