I’ve been there twice! But wished we went to Penang! Heard good reviews about that place:) I think I did post about this a couple of months back but I lost my entry..I have no idea but I think I lost it during I changed to a new hosting. Oh well..here it is again!

As one of the visitors of Kuala Lumpur, I was fascinated with the obvious muti-cultured country which predominantly Malay, with the smaller groups of Chinese, Indians, Euroasians, Potoguese and many other mixed races. And to think they live harmoniously. I also noticed that the the city itself was divided along racial lines. While the city’s past is still present in the powerful British colonial buildings of the Dataran Merdeka-I love that part of the city…I have so many photos there and the midnight lamps of the Petaling Street nightmarket, that past is everywhere met with reminders of KL’s present and future. The city’s bustling streets, its shining, modern office towers, and its cosmopolitan spirit of progress and symbolize Malaysia’s leap into the future.
The photo is located in Independence Square. There were full of beautiful colorful flowers and some white and black building in the right side were the British Houses, it was used to be their ballroom areas. From the center you can witness the moorish buildings where the clock Tower was located and the cricket area. It is said that, Dataran Merdeka (formerly the Selangor Club Padang) was once the focal point, and cricket green, of the British colonial presence in Malaysia.
And we went to visit the Petronas Tower. The worlds tallest Building and where the movie “Entrapment” being shot by the well-known Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta Jones! When you’re in KL, no way you can’t see this one. Pretty with the 2 long tail, specially @ night! To visit the 41st floor, be sure to go early morning before 10 in the morning as there will be many visitors that will queue for the FREE tickets. Open by Tuesday to Sunday and you can get the tickets @ the second tower in the ground level. From there, there will be instructions to where you’ll be going to! No reservations available!
It was fun times! Photos are taken by Me.
